My name is ALYSSA

mother of 2 + Wife + flower lover

I’m an Arizona wedding photographer originally from Southern California. In 2010, I met my husband on a cruise in Mexico, and after three years of long-distance dating, I moved to Arizona in 2013 for the boy I fell in love with. Ever since that chance meeting, the ocean has been a quiet part of my life shaping the way I see movement, light, and the beauty of letting things flow naturally.

That same year, I graduated college, started my first "real" job, and got married - proof that sometimes the biggest chapters really do happen all at once. Today, we’re raising two amazing daughters together, and becoming their mama has deepened the way I see love, connection, and the fleeting beauty of everyday moments.

I’ve always been a photographer, but before this chapter I worked in Learning & Development, training adults how to use Photoshop (before Ai!) and navigate new systems. That experience shaped the way I work today - with patience, empathy, and a genuine curiosity for people and how they move through the world. I take the time to get to know my couples because connection matters - to you and to the images we create together.

White roses and cascading greenery create an elegant floral arrangement with pearl accents.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from California State University, Long Beach. I was also lucky enough to be a part of one of the last graduating classes to study film and darkroom processes there. That foundation continues to guide the way I approach wedding days - with intention, artistry, and care.

When I'm not behind the camera, I love to cook, bake and be a mom. I love slow mornings with coffee in hand and hearing my girls bursting with laughter. I notice flowers wherever I go and gravitate toward anything that feels romantic, garden-inspired and sparkly. My family and I love to spend time at one of our favorite places, Saguaro Lake. If I were a color, my husband says I’d be three different shades of pink and honestly, he’s not wrong.

A closer look at my floral icon

September, March & August

My floral icon is made up of my family’s birth flowers, drawn together into a delicate, hand-illustrated bouquet. It represents growth both in my family and in my work and serves as another reminder of why I photograph the way I do. Flowers have always felt like an invitation to slow down and be present, to notice beauty as it exists in the moment.

My journey as a wedding photographer has been shaped by connection, care, and the belief that the most meaningful moments are often the quietest ones. Just like the flowers that inspired my logo, my work is rooted in intention, presence, and preserving what matters most exactly as it unfolds.

Thank you to Sera Seah for illustrating my beautiful floral piece.
