A Proposal at Wrigley Mansion


Maddy is one of my best friend's cousins and I've photographed her before! INSERT BRIDAL LINK So when her boyfriend, Manny, (yes, their names are Maddy and Manny!) reached out to me on Instagram about planning his proposal to he,r I welled up with happy tears and immediately texted my BF haha. He wanted it to be a total surprise so we came up with a plan.


We decided to set this up as a styled couple's session at Wrigley Mansion. Since I've photographed Maddy before it wasn't super suspicious of me to ask her to model again but this time with Manny. I was a bit nervous because I had to lead this "session" in a way to get Maddy away from Manny so he could sneak around the front of the mansion to THE spot.


We walked out to the back of the mansion and this is where Manny excused himself to go to the bathroom and I needed to keep us all walking down the hill. Turns out, I lead us in the wrong direction and got a teeny bit lost but played it off as "scouting" haha. I found the right path back to the location and thankfully Maddy didn't seem too concerned that Manny wasn't with us still haha. Once we were within sight, I turned to catch Maddy's reaction and it's safe to say she was in total shock about what was happening!


Congratulations to this sweet couple! They are getting married at Gather Estate in Mesa, Arizona next year!
