What’s one thing couples don’t realize until after the wedding?
Most couples don’t realize how quickly the day passes! Moments you waited months (or even years!) for can blur together in the excitement, emotion, and movement of it all. After the wedding, your photographs become the way you revisit the quiet glances, the in-between moments, and the feelings you didn’t even realize were happening. They aren’t just memories of how the day looked, but reminders of how it felt.
What makes your wedding photography experience different?
Your wedding day isn’t just a day - it’s the day. The day you've dreamt about. The day you've been working so hard towards. The day you want to remember forever with your family, friends and most of all, your partner. I bring a calm, adaptable presence, knowing when to guide and when to step back. By reading the room and moving with intention, I document your day in a way that feels natural and respectful but also fun and true.
Will we receive sneak peeks?
Yes! For weddings, I typically deliver those within 2 weeks but sometimes sooner. For engagement and portrait sessions, I will send a few within 24- 48 hours.
Will you help guide us on the wedding day timeline?
Yes, timeline guidance is always part of the experience. I work closely with you and your planner to build a wedding day timeline that allows space for beautiful portraits, meaningful moments, and the best possible light. I’m always mindful of sunset and prioritize natural light first, then seamlessly transition to thoughtfully placed lighting once the sun sets.
I also recommend adding buffer time throughout the photo timeline, knowing that some moments may run long while others move more quickly than expected. This flexibility helps the day feel relaxed and unrushed so you can stay present and enjoy every moment.

What happens if it rains or lighting is challenging?
If rain makes an appearance, we simply shift to Plan B. Your planner and I will work together to adjust the plan and find the best covered spots for photos - easy and seamless. And if the moment feels right, we can even lean into the rain and have a little fun with it.
While less-than-perfect weather isn’t always ideal, it never stops us from creating beautiful images. Challenging light doesn’t worry me either - I come prepared with professional lighting to brighten any space and make sure nothing is left unseen.
Do you take a more candid or posed approach?
I’d describe my style as a relaxed editorial approach. When the light is perfect, I’ll guide you into it and offer simple prompts to keep things feeling natural - think laughter, movement, and connection, never just standing there or fake smiles. The goal is always the same: images that feel like you, with just enough direction to make you feel like you stepped into the pages of a magazine.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely. I’m always happy to recommend photo locations. I have a list of tried-and-true favorites depending on the type of session, but I also love helping you choose a location that feels personal to you.
I’ll often ask questions that spark memories—where you first met, your favorite date night spot, or where you got engaged. Those details help guide us toward a location that feels meaningful, aligns with your vision, and results in images that truly reflect your story.
What's your favorite tv show or movie?
Ok, this isn’t really an FAQ. But it is a reminder that we’re going to spend a lot of time together on one of the biggest days of your life. Connection matters, and getting to know each other makes the experience (and the photos) that much better.
